Story
A singer-songwriter from London but with a sound that appears born in the middle of the Atlantic, Jamie Abbott has drawn influence from prolific songwriters including Paul Simon, David Gray and James Taylor. Re-igniting the partnership of poignant lyricism and beautiful melodies, Jamie's distinct vocal and unique sensibility combines to form a playlist of songs that captures imaginations.
Currently working with Kipper - Grammy Award winning producer of Sting and Clay Aiken - and collaborating with writers who have worked with James Morrison, Jamie Woon, Robbie Williams and Elton John; Jamie Abbott has created an unmistakable soundtrack that transcends generations.
'Jamie Abbott has got all the hooks and is catching some interesting influences along the way. He has the type of gravel in his voice you wouldn't mind coming off your bike to, soft, deep and good humoured, Jamie Abbott won us over!'
